Our History

Wee Know School was originally established in the Hartland area in 1974 as a half day preschool with extended care services being added in 1989.  With rapid growth in the Lake Country area, we moved to our current home in the former Bark River Elementary School in 1994.  This wonderful facility gave Wee Know the ability to meet the demand of our school’s growing enrollment.  With eight classrooms, a gymnasium, and eight acres of green space and nature trails, numerous indoor and outdoor opportunities are provided to all children.  A consistent offering of program choices through the years has helped us meet the scheduling needs of our families during the school year and summer months, where we expand our program to include school-age children up to 3rd grade bound.

Philosophy

We believe young children learn through play perfecting skills in social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.  Positive interactions and age appropriate activities are designed to build    self-esteem and positive feelings toward learning.
